"...Mission – What happened to all the fun?
For some reason (called religion!) the church can become stagnant,
irrelevant and boring. This is such a tragedy as the church is God’s
number one means of bringing his love and healing to the world which is
certainly not boring; in fact it is an adventure. And that is what
mission is all about, being caught up on God’s adventure and finding
your place in it. Once you understand mission like that, it becomes way
more fun."

Life's a trip, all of its own accord. Who needs the drogas when you've got the Spirit to point these things out? Like have you seen light dancing in the river at night? Have you breathed exhaust and been grateful anew for all the clean air you've ever known? Please Lord, fill us; help us breathe You deep, deep.
Course through us; by Your grace, flow from us. Please help us know You; deep, deep.

randumb fact
I am not satisfied with breakfast until it involves something spicy; usually red chile, cayenne or hot sauce.

Magnolia
Spring baby breathed two and a half minutes;
(one crying,
one gasping and the hesitation between)
frost crept lace-etched rosy pink to
given-up brown, whispered;
"I'll call you Magnolia."
we blinked it in,
eyelids the coldest heavy,
hearts taught to close before
lips
could fog
'thank you.'
