Leisure

"What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare."

Psalm 46:10

writing, singing and walking as my greatest releases

This combination could probably justify anyone's aesthetic-vagabond-leanings,
but it seems such a carrying-out would only make it obsolete!

If we live life in our release
what's left to relieve?

Can we fathom a life without the desire to find relief?

Funny how
release is alleviating
al(l)eviating

completely-lightening

and apprehending births only apprehension.

"You don't even have to say anything.
Just take me to a movie or something."

Is this my life?

So many events I never thought would take place are in the working-out right. now.

I remember watching the Food Network a few years ago when one of their featured food-travelers (best job ever?) visited Belgium. Chocolate, okay. Waffles, sure. What I really could not wrap my mind around, though? French fries.
Had to try them.
Belgium remained far too distant, and how in the world would I ever end up there?

Little did I know at the time Kontaktmission would come to visit our school
or that I would chat with them and come familiar with Member Care
or that I would like to join their trip with the funny name
or that I would purchase a plane ticket to join their trip with the funny name
