All this Waiting

...all this blessing,
shows me hope neither rests nor will ever find itself sustained in
promising job leads, a future of travel, my appearance, the food I eat, social networking activity,
or striving after anything
but God and all He is and promises for each of our lives, for His glory.

Even famished leaves can whisper and
discouraging though it appears,
abundance amplifies anguish.

But we sing
because life eases as hope evidences
what has fallen springs up
outward flows;
life, meaning, breath, fullness
What seem hopeless can really never be.
